Properly fills the hole in the frame where you already removed the lock. Which is how this Patent Pending parts set came about. I removed the lock from my 329PD carry gun and went looking for a parts set to fill the hole and didn't like the option out there so being a Machinist I decided to develop an interlocking set for my carry gun and make them available for everyone. Packaged in a heavy duty ziplock so you have somewhere to store the factory lock parts, if you need to send your gun in for service just put them back in your gun and send it off for warranty work at Smith & Wesson.
